A Chinese Blue and White Dish.
Of circular form with foliate rim, decorated in bright shades of underglaze cobalt blue, the central medallion painted with a large lattice work basket the handle tied with a ribbon, the basket filled with various flowers, the moulded rim with twelve lotus petal panels, each containing prunus and peony sprays and interspersed with diaper borders, the base with a lotus mark within a double circle.
