Chinese blue and white charger, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated to the central roundel with a pavilion garden scene, with a court official dressed in long flowing robes and a wide-brimmed hat gesturing to a young attendant, amongst trees, plantain, a garden seat and long table; within two sets of double circles, the rim with various cell and trellis diaper grounds and six lobed cartouches containing flowers including peony, prunus and camellia; the reverse decorated with rocky islets to the rim and the base with central apocryphal Chenghua mark within double circle.
