A carved and gilt wood mirror in the manner of Matthias Lock (circa 1710 – 1765); the richly decorated frame in the bold early rococo style of the George II period, incorporating C & S scrolls, flamework and acanthus leaves. Late 19th/early 20th century.
The back of the frame has been reinforced with a later conforming panel which could be removed if necessary.
