Description

A beautiful gold and diamond Disorient ring by Amy Burton, the striking yellow gold ring of asymmetric architectural design with openwork geometric shapes formed by three dimensional angular woven gold, random sections of which have been highlighted by round brilliant cut diamonds, the bold dynamic design tapering to a smooth polished shank.

Directors Notes

The Disorient collection is characterised by strong architectural lines that cleverly play with ideas of volume, geometry and negative space to create bold sculptural jewels that are substantial but also light, open and feminine.

The complex asymmetry of the pieces is sometimes complemented by a beautiful coloured gemstone such as a blush pink morganite, or icy blue aquamarine whilst at others is left to stand alone in all its geometric glory.

The apparently chaotic structure of each jewel belies the hours of work taken to ensure that every line and angle was perfectly balanced in order to create the bold, dynamic effect Amy was looking to achieve with this collection.
