With a globular body extending to a tall, slim neck finished by a galleried rim, decorated on the body with two large panels of watery landscape scenes painted with pagodas and low buildings on islets in the water, small boats and figures walking across bridges connecting the lands and surrounded by willow, pine trees and rockwork, the scenes situated within elaborately decorated frames of interlinked bats and further surrounded by elaborately drawn blossoming and budding flowers, some set within garlands of flowers and auspicious motifs, at the top of the neck a wide band created by butterflies, roe-pattern and honey-comb-pattern, and stylised flower-heads in a band around the galleried rim, the base glazed.
