Barthropp's Ferns With a Choice of Frames.

Eighteen pressed and framed specimens of ferns originally collected by the Rev. Nathaniel Shafto Barthropp, now appropriately framed so as to fill a feature wall in the most stunning of ways. Most of the exhibits are inscribed in pen with their botanical name.

Available in simple white-wood framing, o.s: dimension of 13 ins x 17.25 ins @ £8950.00.

The Reverend Nathaniel Shafto Barthropp of Jesus College Oxford was Rector of Itton (Monmouthshire) by 1879. He was born at the very end of 1843 in Cretingham, Suffolk, the son of Nathaniel George, and enrolled at Jesus College Oxford in 1862; B.A. in 1867 and M.A. 1870.
