A good looking all over design Indigo ground antique Mahal carpet. The deep indigo field with repeating floral motifs covering the whole piece. The border is a rich madder tone with greens, yellows and pale blues. The ivory white corner spandrels lighten the look of this antique carpet which was woven in the early part of the 20th century in the north west of Persia.
A very decorative piece that would suit a drawing room or under a dining table.
