Antique Khamseh Kelleh, fantastic colours make this a bold interesting tribal weaving from South-West Persia. A full high pile on this rug, look at the vibrant small repeating 'Boteh' motifs in the main field, a wonderful rug! These finely woven tribal rugs from southern Persia have lots of interest, using a variation of designs and geometric motifs. The 'Abrash' (change of dye) in the centre with a bold blue being used just adds to its character.
