Kalamkari dating to the first half of the 19th century. Most likely made in Isfahan, this painted and block printed textile follows the classic format, including the architectural elements. Beautiful boteh design in the field, with very fresh colours on chintzed cotton.
The textile is hemmed in by old binding and backed on linen.
