Wonderful vibrant tribal Heriz carpet with bold colourful large leaf design, dating from circa 1900-1910 the condition is fabulous! With a fine weave and very good pile height all over.  A sturdy yet decorative antique carpet which can be used in any room, we always supply excellent anti-slip underlay with all our carpets and rugs.  A 100 year old beautiful oriental carpet with faded natural dyes, these timeless Persian carpets have so much interest and character.

Heriz carpets have always been regarded as beautiful, tough objects of decoration, made in the north-west of Persia these handwoven works of art always have variations from one piece to another. Some draw influences from further north into the Caucasus and vivid colours like this particular carpet.  A decorative yet practical carpet which has been used for over 100 years and has already stood the test of time.
