A fabulous antique Heriz carpet from the late 19th Century, an intricate medallion pattern with golden yellow scrolling vines in the red outer medallion.  The four pale blue corners are a real delight, this early pale blue dye is one of our favourites to see on a Heriz.  Heriz have always been regarded as tough, decorative rugs and this wonderful example is a prime example.

Please view the 16 additional images to see how lovely the colours and intricate pattern has been woven. Accomplished nomadic weavers have created a glorious carpet, woven 120 years ago and looking as good as the day it was cut from the loom.

It is getting increasingly rare to find antique Persian Heriz carpets of this quality in such original condition.  Ideal for a drawing room, dining room, study or entrance hall, included in the price is our sturdy underlay, helping sit safely and flat on any floor type, enhancing its appearance too.

Request a home visit to view this stunning antique Heriz in the privacy of your own home. We travel all over the UK showing our carpets and rugs in-situ to help you make the right choice. A professional service we have offered for the last 30 years.
