Stunning vibrant antique Heriz carpet with beautiful colours, remarkable intricate pattern with detailed leaves, blue medallion and soft off white, ivory corners.  Condition is excellent, a high wool pile and dating from circa 1890-1900.  When we purchased this carpet recently it was incredibly dirty, so it has been thoroughly cleaned by our workshop and now ready for the floor.

Please view the 16 additional images to see how lovely the colours and intricate pattern has been woven. Accomplished nomadic weavers have created a glorious carpet, woven 120 years ago and looking as good as the day it was cut from the loom.

It is getting increasingly rare to find antique Persian Heriz carpets of this high quality in such original condition.  Ideal for a drawing room, dining room, study or entrance hall, included in the price is our sturdy underlay, helping sit safely and flat on any floor type, enhancing its appearance too.
