Antique Diamond And Natural Pearl Lozenge Pendant Attributed to Giuliano Circa 1880.

An antique natural pearl and diamond pendant attributed to Carlo Giuliano, circa 1880. The pendant is designed in a lozenge shape made up of alternating natural pearls and old mine cushion cut diamonds. Below is a drop of blue, cream and black enamel and a natural drop pearl. The pendant is hung from a old cut diamond loop and all set in 18ct yellow gold.

Giuliano jewels have been loved by Royalty, Pre-Raphaelite artists, museums, connoisseurs and collectors alike. Distinctive and of unparalleled craftmanship his jewels have remained consistently collectible. When this pendant was made Giuliano had opened his own retail premises in London, at 115 Piccadilly.  The shop was a treasure trove of wonderful jewels showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship for which Giuliano pieces were renowned. His jewels combined contemporary wearability of the period with the Renaissance aesthetic that he found so inspiring.
