An early 20th Century high grade American lever in a Dennison rolled gold open face case. Damascened nickelled split three quarter plate stem set keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel micrometer regulator, star shaped gold set wheel. Compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement.
Gold set jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Plain open face 14 carat rolled gold case, hinged back and cuvette. Marked inside the back lid “Sun – Trade Mark – Dennison Watch Case Co. Ltd.” and inside the cuvette “English make guaranteed to be of Two Plates of 14 Ct Gold with Plate of Composition between and to wear 25 Years”
