Early 19th century oak pedestal writing desk made by C Hindley & Sons 154 Oxford Street London 1820 -30.
The desk is free standing and retains the original leather lined writing surface. It also has a three quarter solid oak gallery, nine cock-beaded drawers with wooden knob handles.
One lock has been replaced the others are all original. The whole has a plinth base with concealed castors on the underside. English circa 1825
