19th century Maltese table.
A charming and rare Maltese item, this is an attractive small circular top drum top table. Beautifully veneered occasional table in walnut, with a rotating circular top and inlaid with a central star. The frieze has four false drawers and four drawers for use and they retain the original wooden knob handles. The central turned column support has three out-swept legs raised on ball feet.
