18th Century Chippendale Period Cabinet.
A George III 18th century period mahogany side cabinet.
The highly figured flamed mahogany rectangular top is made in the solid. The finely bevelled edge above a tambour door opens to reveal a cupboard space.
The cupboard is raised above four chamfered legs that stand on the original leather castors.
The concave fronted shelf is fitted with a mahogany gallery and retains a beautiful patina and colour.
The cabinet is unusual in design and scale which is why I think it is a one off bespoke piece of furniture.
