A 15th century oak Suffolk roof angel. Somewhat ravaged by time and beetle, this deeply carved roof angel is almost certainly from Suffolk.
His hair is very similar to one in Woolpit Church which is illustrated in "Suffolk Medieval Church Roof Carvings" by Birkin Hayward page 40.
It measures 12 1/2 inches high x 8 inches wide x 3 inches deep.
