THIS SMALL AND SUMPTUOUSLY PATINATED BRONZE CANDELABRA FROM THE GOTHIC PERIOD DEPICTS A PEASANT SERVANT HOLDING ALOFT TWO GOTHIC PIERCED CANDLE SCONCES AND STANDING ON A GOTHIC TRIFORM BASE. AN IDENTICAL CANDELABRA BUT IN PEWTER IS IN THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART NEW YORK, ACCESSION NO 01.23.1.
