Of ovoid form with a deep rim at the neck, boldly painted in shades of black, yellow and grey, with military trophies, including a coat of arms, all on a blue ground, reserved with a cartouche within a gadrooned frame, one depicting a lady with a laurel branch, the other depicting Christ bearing a cross, all in yellow, ochre, green, white and blue, bands of foliate scrolls on an ochre ground above and below.

Period:  Circa 1600

Provenance: from the collection of Bryan Hall, the Old Rectory, Banningham, Norfolk.
