Harris Lindsay were established in 1967. They are known for their eclectic and distinctive mix of historically interesting and unusual English, Continental and Oriental furniture and works of art, of all periods.

Harris Lindsay has sold works of art to over sixty museums and other public collections all over the world, including the British Museum, the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Metropolitan Museum New York, and the Getty Museum - from Tokyo to Toledo, Amsterdam to Adelaide, Virginia to Versailles. They also have long-standing contacts in all areas of the art and design world and can connect you with leading practitioners in the fields of interior design, architectural restoration and design, landscape design, and the restoration of furniture and works of art.

Bruce Lindsay has been in this business for over thirty years. He has done much valuation work for the National Trust and other public bodies, and advises the government for the Reviewing Committee on the Export of Works of Art and for the Acceptance in Lieu scheme. He has served on the vetting committees of various international fairs and is a past Council Member of the Furniture History Society.

Marieke MacMahon previously lectured in Art and Design History in Ireland. She has a First Class degree in the History of Art and a Master's in Furniture History.
