A RARE MID 18TH CENTURY MAHOGANY BUREAU, GEORGE II, CIRCA 1750
A charming early bureau of unusually small proportions & of a lovely rich colour and desirable depth of patination.The fall front opening to reveal a shaped writing surface, four arched pigeon holes over a long drawer, flanked by six short drawers.The body of the bureau with two short and three long graduated cock-beaded drawers, raised on a moulded base & shaped bracket feet with original recessed castors.Retaining all its original handles and escuteons.
