THIS BEAUTIFUL LATE 15TH CENTURY NORMAN SCULPTURE RETAINS ALMOST ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL POLYCHROME DECORATION. IT DEPICTS ST CATHERINE STOOD HOLDING A BOOK IN HER LEFT HAND AND AT HER FEET THE EMPEROR MAXIMIAN.
