An 18th century Serpentine Mahogany Chest of small proportions, George III, circa 1775.
Cross banded throughout with rosewood. the serpentine top with a central oval panel with corner radials of satinwood and greenheart.
Over the base with serpentine front and shaped sides with cut corners, inlaid with greenheart and box line stringing, and with four graduated drawers above a shaped apron.
Retaining original brass swanneck handles and side carrying handles. The top drawer is fitted with a brushing slide and an arrangement of various lidded compartments & drawers.
Excellent quality throughout.
