BADA member Beaux Arts has been working with fashion label Jaeger to create a limited edition collection inspired by landscape artist Daisy Cook's work, ‘Landscape, Yellow Triangle’.

The capsule collection comprises an overcoat, long sleeve top, pleated dress and silk scarf, all of which are on display alongside new works by the artist at Beaux Arts’ London Gallery.

A London-based artist, Daisy is almost completely self-taught and uses thinned down oil paints applied in glazes across the canvas, which allows the colours to run, rather like a water-colourist.

‘Landscape, Yellow Triangle’ was chosen as the inspiration for the Jaeger collection because of its interesting colour palette and abstract form.

Artist Daisy Cook says of the work: “This painting sought to give landscapes an architecture, and structure. With this painting I wanted to reflect the concept of landscape over millennia, its erosion, compression and liquefaction.”

The Daisy Cook exhibition and Jaeger Collection can be viewed until Saturday 8 October at Beaux Arts, 48 Maddox Street W1S 1AY.
