Suffolk based folk art and naive painting dealers, Doris Urquhart and Christopher Richardson, are excited and delighted to announce the arrival of a new gallery at Antiques at York’s Tenement.

The gallery takes the form of a large tin 'tabernacle' style caravan which is painted terracotta red inside and out, and features reclaimed floorboards and doors. The tabernacle was custom made for Doris and Christopher and had to be shipped from Cornwall.

It is now situated in the garden of York's Tenement in Yoxford, Suffolk overlooking water meadows, woodland and sheep.  As Doris says, 'Our new gallery is our latest and largest piece of folk art and perfectly complements what is displayed inside it and what our business is about'.

The opening of the new gallery will coincide with the start of the annual Summer Exhibition at York’s Tenement, Darsham Road, Yoxford, Suffolk, IP17 3LA.

Join Doris and Christopher for celebration drinks at 11.00am on Saturday 4 June.
