A PAIR OF GEORGE III MAHOGANY STOOLS ATTRIBUTED TO GILLOWS OF LANCASTER AND LONDON
England circa 1795
With drop in seat and plain apron, each stool has four turned plain circular tapering legs which splay out from the rectangular seat. The legs are united by a turned X stretcher centred by a circular ringed patera.
Measurements: height 14” (48 cm) width 16 ½” (42 cm) depth 14” (35.5 cm )
