Chinese Famille Rose export ware pair of Cream Jugs known as Sparrow beak Jugs.
Made at Jingdezhen for export to Europe during the reign of the Emperor Qianlong (1736-1795) circa 1750.
Painted with flowers and butterflies in overglaze enamels the palette known as Famille Rose.
The painting is enhanced with gilding which has become a little rubbed due to wear as they were obviously used.
Restrained decoration adds to the elegant nature of them.
