About

Established in 2009, ArtAncient specialise in exceptional works spanning from the formation of the Solar System through to the Roman period.

These include ancient art and antiquities, ancient coins and artworks of cultural and historical importance.

They have sold and donated important objects to museums and private collections worldwide.

Expansion

Founded by Costas Paraskevaides in 2009, ArtAncient began life as an online gallery.

Over the past decade the company has grown to deal in high quality works of art.

They participate in a number of international art fairs and have been elected to many of the world's leading trade associations.

The gallery opened a London based showroom in 2016, which is open by appointment only, Monday to Friday, from 10.00am to 6.00pm.

Associations

ArtAncient are committee members of the Antiquities Dealers’ Association (ADA).

They are also members of the International Association of Dealers in Ancient Art (IADAA), The British Antique Dealers' Association (BADA), LAPADA, and the British Numismatic Trade Association (BNTA).

Fairs

The gallery have participated in major international fairs including Masterpiece Fair (2019), TEFAF Maastricht (2019), Frieze Masters (2019), BRAFA (2018), CULTURES (2017), LAPADA (2015-2017), Olympia (2014) and BRUNEAF (2012).
