This is a significant work from the British Folk Art tradition, with impeccable provenance and international exhibition history. A large-scale triple family portrait of three sisters, wearing white dresses with pink sashes and red shoes, is in excellent "as found" condition. Painted in oils on canvas the work was cleaned and conserved in the early 1980s and has been hanging in the same collection for a generation.
