An exceptional English Ormolu mounted writing table. In Rosewood and Satinwood, with the top being triple banded, ormolu moulded and retaining its original leather inset writing surface. The table having two mahogany lined frieze drawers and two faux drawers to the reverse with ormolu handles and stands on cabriole legs which terminate in sabots with castors. In very good and original condition. English. Circa 1860.
