A rare Chinese Export Silver Goblet depicting the story of the Three Kingdoms. The goblet embossed and chased with characters from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, including Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, etc. It has a vacant shield-shape cartouche. The stem is formed as a dragon soaring into the clouds and riding on the mist. The goblet was retailed by Kwong Wa of 54 Queen's Road, Hong Kong, and made by the firm of Quan 泉记(Quan Ji), and is circa 1875. It is a lovely goblet and an excellent example of the storytelling that can be found on Chinese Export Silver.
