Chinese c1730 18th century small biscuit porcelain of Shoulao seated on a rather startled looking deer.  Made at Jingdezhen for the Chinese market
Glazed with brown and blue and clear glazed to the head.
Biscuit porcelain is a quicker process missing out one of the initial firings so producing a brown body 
excellent modelling
