Chinese 18th century biscuit porcelain jos stick holder modelled as a seated dignitary. Made at Jingdezhen for the Chinese market.
The seated beared figure is modelled flowing robes, glazed in celadon with a brown hat and the figure is on a log. The jos stick holder is beside him
Biscuit porcelain missed one of the firings so making it a quicker and cheaper process
A more unusual figure with excellent modelling and glazing
