Delicately made William IV miniature sterling silver taper stick and snuffer.
Maker: Taylor and Perry. Birmingham 1830.
The taper stick stands on a vine leaf base and the capital is engraved with grapes and vine leaves which is attached to the base by a looped leafed tendril handle.
The conical snuffer is hooked on to the capital and is engraved with various types of flowers.
The full set of hallmarks and the maker's mark are stamped on the top side of the base. This is a charming well executed collectors piece.
