William IV Silver Gilt Vinaigrette "Chatelar playing the lute to Mary Queen of Scots".

A very fine quality and rare William IV silver gilt Vinaigrette, of rectangular form with raised foliate borders, the base and sides with engine turned decoration, the lid with inset panel depicting "Chatelar playing the lute to Mary Queen of Scots" in high relief. The interior with intricately pieced foliate scroll grille.
