A superb William IV mahogany double wellington chest; having twenty four drawers in two banks of twelve, each drawer is veneered in beautifully figured mahogany and retains its original turned knob handle; raised on a plinth base.

Circa 1835.

This wonderful piece of cabinet furniture is ideal for the end of a long corridor with a sculpture or vase placed on top. It is perfect for a gentleman's library with a collection of objects in the drawers.
