An unusual miniature William IV bronze desk lamp in the form of a lamp post in the Neoclassical taste; the octagonal lantern is suspended on a chain from an S shaped arm which is raised on a reeded and acanthus decorated stem which terminates in an octagonal base.
Circa: 1835.
This form of lamp post was typical of the early Nineteenth Century and the lamp makes a wonderful conversation piece.
