An exquisitely made Wiener Werkstätte Style Ring in gold diamond & pearl.
Probably inspired by the Talismanic Neolithic 'Eye Idols' of Mesopotania (Babylon).
The 'Eye Idols' are the earliest representation of a watchful & protective God, which have a long tradition of over six thousand years. A later example would be the iconic 'Owl of Minerva' Athena's owl in Greek mythology. Variants of this long tradition exist even to the present day.
