Whalers Cribbage Board.
A good, early to mid 19th century whalebone cribbage board, no doubt made to mark the score at cribbage played by the whaler's during the long periods at sea waiting for their quarry. Good colour and patination; the slide to cover the integral box for the markers is now missing and one small turned foot is an old replacement.
10.25 in x 2.5 in.
The slab a little over 1/4 inch thick.
