Four watercolour views of Belgium city centres; two of Brussels and one each of Malines and Antwerp.
Each view records in charming detail many examples of traditional Belgium costume along with an accurate record of the architecture of each place.
Painted on paper and glued to pages from a Victorian album, the colour retention excellent due to there being no exposure to sunlight.
The places identified beneath each painting in pencil and further signed by the artist, Myford. Glue stain in the sky of 'Malines', left and right. Similar (very faint) 'Hotel de Ville Brussels', top right.
Each page 7.75 in x 9.75 in
Each watercolour 5 3/4 in x 8 3/8 in
