Watch and Barometer Desk Set.

An unusual early 20th Century Desk set comprising a large Swiss lever watch, matching barometer in a silver faced stand with a thermometer.  Keyless gilt bar movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator. Uncut bimetallic balance with spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement.

White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Substantial plain open face nickel case.  The English aneroid barometer in a matching nickel case, the rotating bezel with a blue steel pointer to record the setting.  

White enamel dial marked in inches of mercury and the type of weather expected.  Both fitted in a black morocco covered case with easel stand and lined in green velvet.  Plain silver mask to the front with a central blue spirit thermometer marked in Fahrenheit.

Hallmarked: Birmingham 1902.
