Walnut tallboy with well-figured timber.
A good mid 18th Century figured walnut tallboy with chevron banding; unusual small drawer arrangement, stepped bracket feet and all the original brasses circa 1730.
In the Norman Adams Sothebys sale of 21/04/09 a very similar tallboy by the same maker fetched £21,000.
