West German, mid-century modern, brown & stone, ceramic vase lava table lamp with original gold linen shade 62cm, 24 ½ inches high.
Striking statement piece with the large shade and the contrasting textures and patterning.
Vase shaped, ceramic base with contrasting textures, the top part with bird egg mottling and the bottom section with a heavily ridged thumb print pattern. The original large conical gold linen shade with gold upper and lower borders.
