Vintage Chalcedony Gold Earrings circa 1950.
A stylish pair of vintage chalcedony earrings.
Each earring is mounted with a cabochon cut chalcedony (a blue-ish form of quartz) to the centre surrounded by a fluted gold border. The earrings have clip fittings to the reverse and sit comfortably on the ear.
Stamped for 9ct gold they date from the 1950s
Era: Mid Century, circa 1940 - 1960.
Measurements: Earrings 2.1cm in diameter, 11 grams in weight (pair).
Hallmarks: Stamped 385 with indistinct makers mark.
