Anton Mayer is listed in ‘Vienese Clockmakers and what they left us’ by F.H.Van Weijdom Claterbos as being a master clockmaker working from Stadt, Ruthenturmstr in Vienna from 1835 to 1869.
Vienna Regulators and related clocks by Rick Ortenburger features a fine regulator by Anton Mayer on page 39 stating that he was a master clockmaker in 1835.
