A fine large early Victorian silver Tartan Vinaigrette made in Birmingham in 1837 by Nathaniel Mills. The vinaigrette is engraved to both sides with tartan decoration (probably made for the Scottish market) and in the cartouche the original recipient Isabella is engraved. The vinaigrette is a little larger than usual with a finely pierced gilt grille. The box is in excellent crisp condition.
