A very fine antique silver hand forged kings pattern flatware service for eighteen place settings all made by Charles Boyton of London in 1891/2.This rare straight service all made by Charles Boyton and all made in the years 1891/2 comprises -18 Table spoons,18 Table forks 18 Dessert spoons,18 Dessert forks,18 Tea spoons with 6 extra Table spoons ( For serving) and 4 sauce ladles ( one pair slightly larger than the other )- in addition to the sterling silver service there are 18 Fish knives and 18 Fish forks in silver plate of exactly the same period and specially made for the service by Mappin and Webb.All the pieces (136 in total )bear the same original family crest of a dog and it is in excellent condition with a lovely patina.The service is priced without knives and we would be pleased to supply ( we have a large stock or they could be made to the customers order)
