A very fine Victorian Silver Fiddle Thread and Shell Flatware Service for 10 place settings all made in 1900/1 by Walker and Hall of Sheffield ( Teaspoons 1876 George Adams of London). The service comprises 10 soup/table spoons, 10 table forks, 10 dessert spoons, 10 dessert forks, 10 tea spoons, 2 sauce ladles, 1soup ladle, 1 basting spoon and 10 table knives and 10 dessert knives with silver handles and stainless steel blades to match of a later date. The service is in superb condition with very crisp decoration and heavy weight and also has the benefit of small size soup spoons (approx 1.5 to 2 cms ) smaller than the average Victorian soup/table spoon. A lovely set. 74 pieces total.
