This magnificent very large Victorian silver tray is of oval shaped form. The well of the tray is encircled with exceptional bright cut engraved decoration depicting two round circular scrolling leaf and circular motifs joined by a beautiful foliate design.
The two motifs are engraved with flowers and leaves. The decoration to the well of the tray incorporates a shaped vacant cartouche to the centre. The raised border of the tray is encircled with fine and impressive chased floral ornamentation.
The handles have the same floral ornamentation. Width from handle to handle 30 inches and the main body is 25 x 20 inches.
